The assistance provided by CCA Consultants in supporting the completion of Work Package 3.2 of the EROCIPS Project was invaluable. Pan European collation of contacts for coastal pollution response was delivered in a timely and professional manner. .... Project Manager EROCIPS Work package 3.2 I am now nearing the end of day 2 of my return to work and cannot tell you what a difference it has made having CCA Consultants in to provide interim cover during my absence. Again thank you for doing the job so well, we will definitely be keeping in touch for future opportunities to work together. .... Linda Baker, Thames Valley Emergency Planning Liaison Officer, Oxfordshire PCT. CCA Consultants has completed a wide range of work for Portsmouth City Council emergency planning, including structured debriefs for major multi-agency exercises and re-writes of hazard and response plans. Their work is always thorough and professional and I will have no hesitation in commissioning them to work with the council again. .... Civil Contingencies Manager Portsmouth City Council | | “I wanted to record the excellent performance of CCA Consultants who facilitated and supported a major table top emergency exercise attended by senior members of a County Council, the Emergency and Support Services with participants from Industry along with the Competent Authority. A large gathering of some 120 delegates which Louise Cadle, the Managing Director of CCA, kept focused on the task in hand. One of the best examples of leadership and management, controlling and moving the agenda forward with a diverse group of people with differing agendas I have seen.” ..... Roger Bensaid OPA CCA Consultants were initially employed in 2008/9 by West Berkshire Countryside Service to help draft an Event Emergency Plan for a large scale public event a held at The Nature Discovery Centre to mark it’s re-opening following a period of closure. The Event Emergency Plan formed an essential part of the event management process for the Lake Light and Lanterns evening which catered for almost 2000 visitors. The Plan provided us with a methodology for a full evacuation of the site in the event of any emergency. Staff worked very closely with Louise writing the Plan and this provided a very valuable experience for all involved. Her expertise and her very down to earth, practical approach to emergency planning made the whole exercise very easy and uncomplicated. It also left us with a template and methodology which we can use in the future on other events and sites. More recently Louse has assisted the Service in writing the Emergency Plans for four of the countryside sites in West Berkshire . This was a large piece of work which we had originally intended to undertake ourselves. Louse worked alongside the Rangers to produce the Plans, saving weeks of work and providing the expert guidance that was necessary to produce these comprehensive documents. Working with Louise on these Plans has been a most informative process, and has given the Service the expert guidance that we required to make our sites safer for our visitors now, and in the future...
